About

Megazoomer makes windows full-screen. Just press Command-Enter, and the front-most window grows to fill your entire monitor. Press the same keys, and it shrinks again. Like Graffiti, you have to download SIMBL in order for it to work.

QuickCursor — Use your favorite text editor anywhere.

QuickCursor

Use your favorite text editor anywhere.

For Mac users who want to use their favorite text editor everywhere. QuickCursor is a menu item that allows you to edit text from any application in your favorite text editor*. Unlike custom “edit in” plugin solutions QuickCursor provides a standard open source solution that uses public API’s and doesn’t require input manager hacks to work.

QuickCursor is still in development and not yet ready for public consumption. I’m sharing early so that existing WriteRoom users can try it out, so please don’t post to versiontracker, etc.

Here’s a quick screencast demo of how QuickCursor works.

QuickCursor is meant to duplicate WriteRoom’s “Edit in WriteRoom” functionality on Leopard. It also provides a common solution to the “Edit in” problem. It allows you to use any ODB Editor Suite compliant application as your preferred editor. By default it supports BBEdit, Espresso, MacVim, Smultron, TextMate, and WriteRoom.

QuickCursor is free and open source. You get get the latest sources here on GitHub.
